人们经常通过游览名胜古迹来感知历史的魅力，当经常散步在北京的皇家园林中时，我却对于那里的石头与树木产生情感，因为除了古迹本身之外，石头与树也是承载历史与见证历史的载体，它们可能是在这个空间里被忽略的历史见证者，相较于翻修后的古迹建筑，这些石头和古树反而显得更加具有历史痕迹感与历史意义。我尝试在北京的园林里对一些石头与树木进行拍摄，提取它们的局部细节，并与烧过的纸质进行结合。将这些当下的石头与树木重新组合在我想象的历史时空当中，打破时间与空间的束缚，赋予它们新的可能与新的生命。

Memory Landscape

The theme of this series stems from a contemplation of time and space. People often perceive the allure of history through the grandeur of famous landmarks. Yet, during my frequent strolls in the imperial gardens of Beijing, it was the stones and trees that resonated with me. Beyond the historical monuments themselves, these elements serve as vessels of history, silent witnesses to the past. Often overlooked in these spaces, they, unlike the renovated historical structures, bear more profound marks and significance of time. My approach involves capturing various stones and trees within these gardens, isolating specific details, and integrating them with burnt paper textures. By reassembling these contemporary stones and trees into an imagined historical tapestry, I break free from the constraints of time and space, bestowing upon them new possibilities and life.
